F16 or A Weight Considerations :: Catamaran Sailboats ...

2021-2-4 · Better weight for A boat would 210 or less. As for the F16, I googled F16 crew weights and found ideal maximum of 341lbs. To me this translates into two teenagers at 170 each( I do contemplate going 2up in future). For F18, ideal max weight 397lbs or two adults 200 lbs each. I will demo both A and F16 before final decision.

Weta tri - Coffee Shop - Catsailor - Forums

2013-10-21 · The absolutely disgraceful bit was referring to the handicap system in general, our racing is getting stuffed up by dodgy handicaps, I keep travelling everywhere in our state to regattas but most of the bigger cats don't turn up, the Taipan 4.9's with kite are no longer racing in SA as they have the same rating as a F16, the F16's have no ...

90°-110° Canting Keel | Boat Design Net

2006-12-17 · Anyway, when Yipster brought that up I considered the idea seriously for a minute -not in the way Juan K said it or meant it but from the standpoint of having a canting strut with a tank not a bulb on the bottom that when canted 90-110° was stored out of the way on something like a "trimaran" bi-foiler-up under the racks.

Multihull Structure Thoughts | Page 49 | Boat Design Net

2020-1-18 · The CoolCat 26' is definitely a ship for people who like to sail fast. The Coolcat 26' was conceived and constructed to fulfil the needs of speed and stability of multihull sailing with the comforts of double berths. All accommodation was in the main cabin on the wing deck and had sitting headroom.

Foiling F-Boats - Multihull Anarchy - Sailing Anarchy .

2020-12-21 · It looks like the Ultime's have T-foils on the main hull and rudders, plus L-foils on the amas. There's obviously a ton of complexity with these boats that would be infeasible to translate directly a Farrier/Corsair kit, but what about something like this: T-foil on main dagger board with wand-style elevator control (like Moth or Laser kit)

Veal Heel for Multihull Foilers | Page 6 | Boat Design Net

2009-11-4 · One of the biggest advantages of veal heel on a multihull bi-foiler is the increase in RM-up to 20% for "free". Improvement in windward ability is another bi-product of veal heel which will work on a multihull bi-foiler as well. I have to mention again : veal heel will only work on a multihull foiler .
